Loved it! Never really had interest to visit, but a family member was visiting town and wanted to tour here. Glad I went now and will definitely add it to the list and visit again! Tons of history coupled with original documents relating to the History of our great nation! Must see for history buffs, especially anything related to the original documents of our founding; in addition to other history that has profoundly changed our nation. Easy to get to via public transit as well...parking is hit or miss.

Great Visit! Every American should get a chance to see the original founding documents of our great nation. The documents that we need to hold true to if we are to keep this the greatest country on earth! TIP: go when they open, then head directly upstairs to the "Rotunda", this is where you will see the US Constitution and The Declaration of Independence and many other original national documents! If you come late to the "Rotunda" there will be a very long line/wait to view these documents. P.S. The staff and security was all very professional yet very friendly and welcoming!

The documents upstairs are nice (impressive, humbling, awe inspiring, a little boring, etc). But the museum downstairs is AMAZING! So much content!!!! If you are a history geek, you MUST go! Spurred really interesting conversation with my husband, and gave us opportunity to teach our son about a lot of important moments in US history. Next time I go, I want to spend a week.
